About Treetops

A little something about Treetops nursing home.

Treetops Nursing Home is owned by Mr & Mrs Biju who purchased the home in September 2011. They do not own any other homes and are therefore able to concentrate their energies on Treetops to ensure excellent care and high standards.

Our mission statement is to provide an excellent delivery of quality care and service, within a homely environment, ensuring that the privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights and fulfilment of our service users are fully met. Each persons’ assessed needs are met by experienced, well-trained and friendly staff. The comfort, care and well-being of our service users is our number one priority. We will never forget that each service user has individual needs and this will always be uppermost in our minds when planning their care.

I, Mathew Biju am the registered owner/manager of Treetops. I am a Registered General Nurse and also a Registered Mental Nurse (RGN, RMN). I have successfully completed the Registered Managers Award, dementia care My wife, Mrs Beena Biju also works at the home in the capacity of a clinical nurse (RGN). She has completed Level 5 training in Leadership and Management.




There are nursing staffs on duty 24 hours a day. Their primary role is to ensure that service users receive appropriate nursing care. All our staff are expected to have NVQ level 2 training or above or to sign up to work towards completing this training.

They are also required to undertake training in dementia care, moving/handling, infection control, food hygiene, safeguarding, mental capacity/ DOLS, fire and end of life care. By gaining these qualifications all staff are trained to provide a high quality of care. We regularly support staff to undertake additional studies or training, ensuring that we can continuously develop the standards of care provided.

Social Activities

Treetops Care Home has a Resident Engagement Lead on their care team, to provide a full calendar of meaningful and relevant activities and social events. Our care home adopt a whole home approach to resident engagement and all members of the team will have had training on the role that they can play in making every moment count for a person living in Treetops.
